GLOBAL ECOSYSTEM / A CONNECTED RESEARCH FUTURE
The hardest questions do not belong to one discipline, institution or geography. CITADEL LAB is building a space for ideas and expertise to connect.
Explore the ecosystem01 / WHY CONNECTION MATTERS
It is the exchange between people who see the same challenge from different angles.
Our ecosystem direction focuses on creating productive connections: between research fields, between ideas and applications, and between the people who can move work forward.
02 / WAYS TO CONNECT
Different starting points. One aim: give important research a better chance to make a difference.
WORK ACROSS DISCIPLINES
Bring complementary expertise around a shared research question. Our three guilds create a natural meeting point for work in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and quantum computing.
For researchers and specialist teams exploring a common problem.MAKE IDEAS TRAVEL
Share methods, findings and perspectives in ways that help research move beyond a single team. Open discussion and accessible research outputs can turn isolated progress into collective learning.
For people ready to contribute insight or learn from another field.CONNECT RESEARCH TO USE
Ground promising ideas in real needs. Conversations with institutions and industry can help define a relevant challenge, a useful scope and a responsible path toward application.
For organisations with a well-defined research challenge.03 / CROSS-DISCIPLINARY BY DESIGN
Cybersecurity, AI and quantum computing are distinct fields, but their questions increasingly meet. Our research guilds provide the public starting point for exploring each area and the spaces between them.

Whether you represent a research team, institution or industry group, tell us about the question you are working on. This is an invitation to connect, not a formal application.
