This notice explains how CITADEL LAB handles personal information connected with this public website. For questions about this notice or your information, contact info@citadel-lab.com.

It covers the website and its public contact form. A future member account, dashboard, application platform or subscription service may have different practices and would need its own updated notice before launch.

When you send an enquiry, we receive the name, email address, topic and message you enter, plus an organisation or affiliation if you choose to provide one. Please do not send passwords, confidential research or other sensitive information through the initial form.

Our hosting and security services may also receive technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser details, request time and pages requested. To limit form abuse, the contact service keeps a one-way hash of the submitting IP address with the time of a successful submission.

• To operate the site, troubleshoot problems and protect the contact form against repeated or abusive submissions.
• To deliver site typography through Google Fonts, which may receive technical request information when your browser loads the fonts.

The newsletter box currently does not send or store email addresses. If you try to subscribe, the site tells you that subscriptions are coming soon and that your address was not submitted. We will update this notice before enabling newsletter collection.

Contact messages are sent to the CITADEL LAB email inbox. The website is hosted by Bluehost, and the hosting, security and email-delivery services involved in operating it may process related technical data or messages. Google provides the web fonts used on the site. We do not use the contact form to sell your information or send newsletter marketing.

These providers may process information in different countries. Their own privacy terms may also apply to their services.

The hosting service may set a short-lived security or session cookie to check that a visitor is a person and allow the contact form to work. The current public site does not intentionally run advertising or analytics cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although blocking a security cookie may prevent the contact form from working.

We retain enquiry emails for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any related operational or record-keeping need, then delete or archive them according to the applicable process. The contact form's IP-hash rate-limit record is used to enforce a one-minute gap between successful submissions. Hosting and email providers may keep operational logs under their own retention settings.

If you want a specific enquiry removed, email us at info@citadel-lab.com. We will review the request against any reason we need to retain the record.

You can use the site without sending a contact enquiry. You can also email us to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a concern. We will consider requests under the privacy law applicable to your situation. To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We may update this policy as the website and its services develop. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Material changes to how we collect information will be reflected here before the relevant feature is launched.
